Abha Palace hotel located on the edge of Al-Sad Lake, 10 minutes from Abha Airport . The hotel rooms have the overlook to the Al-Sad Lake and surrounding mountains.

The well-appointed rooms at Abha Palace include a spacious seating area with a flat-screen cable TV. All rooms come with a minibar and a private bathroom stocked with toiletries. The suites provide floor-to-ceiling windows, plush sofas, carpeted floors and exquisite wooden furniture are part of the elegant décor.

Comfortable rooms and well equipped. Location looking over Abha dam was lovely. Breakfast was very good.

Reception staff are not always around. In addition, there was only one employee struggling to serve a line up of people at the reception when I arrived from a long distance travel. The coffee maker and locker in room 411 do not wrok

A bit on the expensive side but I'll give it the thumbs up!

The best part was the location of the hotel. Picturesque views all around with a lake opposite to the hotel. The lobby was huge with a nice coffee shop. I also loved the health club that has a large pool.

This has been a regular problem with some of the hotels that I've stayed at recently and it continued here as well. I booked the room for 5 nights which obviously means the door key should have been programmed to work for 5 nights but twice during my stay, I had to go back to the reception to have them recharge the key which is quite tedious considering my room was on the third floor and to make matters more frustrating was the absence of a service telephone on any floor so that I could call reception to have them send someone to open the room door for me. The breakfast time is mentioned as 6:30 am and when you go to the restaurant at this time, the food is still being brought from the kitchen. One day the fruits and bakery items were not available till after 7:15 am. So either changed the breakfast opening time or have the stuff ready at the mentioned time so that customers could enjoy their breakfast. The quality of the food was not bad even though the variety was limited.

My request is not granted and during my check out of the security personnel from the x tray machine, it’s too bad. I park my car and go down just to see my family in the lobby( waiting for me to go out) that security push me out. It’s totally in acceptable as customers regardless what is your nationality

The bed very comfortable and delicious breakfast

I reached at 2:00 am after traviling by car for more than 3 hours, one of the receptionist was rough in his dealing,and i pay for two nights even it was the second day.,my room was at the end of corridor in the 3rd floor so wifi was very weak.

Breakfast was good.

I booked a car from the hotel to drop me to the airport, the fare for which is SAR 105. But as the roads were blocked due to national day celebrations, they took a longer route to drop me and charged me SAR 210 for taking the longer route.

Lacking valet parking, bill boys, concierge. Food in the restaurant is horrible. They don’t open the outdoor section in the 5th floor restaurant for breakfast. Staff are poor and not well trained.

The room price is too exaggerated againist the room facilety The room facilety is very old and ancient The TV is LCD and channels not clear, The soap and shampoo chosen are terrible I take room with lake view and once i saw it i found it partially lake view and once i came back to them they said the full lake view only for suites

- its not 5 stars hotel, MUST be downgraded to 4 or 3 - bad old room carpet - rigid bed and badly stuffed pillows - old furniture - never has been renovated since I last stayed 15 years ago. - bad bathroom. Looks like apartment bathroom - bathtub water stopper is missing, very unprofessional - room lighting and colors very boring, it doesn’t actually work. - old towels - reception doe at answer calls - only one or two receptionist, unexperienced, they don’t know much about the facility - very unwelcoming grumpy staff I cant believe the management are doing this. Such location can make millions but due to the stupidity and unprofessionalism of the management this hotel is going down the turmoil. I don’t recommend this hotel at all..!

Noise and music coming from Abha al jadida park passes mid night , there’s no valley Parking and breakfast same every day please expose Saudi breakfast will be better.
